About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a IT Asset Administrator to join us.

Person would be responsible for coordinating the acquisition, inventory, distribution, and disposal of technical equipment for a state agency. The ITAM Asset Administrator shall report to ITAM Asset Manager and act as point of escalation for incidents and requests related to hardware quotations, inventory, auditing requests, and the processing of excess property.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Administrative activities related to electronic hardware and software inventory management for the state agency including the acquisition, storage, movement, disposition, and disposal of property
  • Incident and Request tickets including initial contact with users to assess requirements, determination of the most appropriate ways to address, evaluation of current stock levels, and tracking of agency fiscal equipment allocations.
  • Quote generation, assistance small procurements, and tracking delivery fulfillment to conclusion.
  • Prepares devices and documentation for the disposal of excess property. Participates in state equipment audits and assists in the process of reporting missing and stolen State property.
  • Warehouse management.
  • Provides relevant quotations and related information for Statements of Work generated by the tate agenct for other supported agencies.


Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience with IT Asset Management and managing equipment lifecycles from delivery to the excessing of End-of-Life equipment
  • 3+ years of experience with IT Asset Management and managing software asset lifecycles
  • 2+ years procurement experience to include the generation of quotations, facilitation of bids, and assessment of qualified submissions.
  • 2+ year IT Service management and support experience with ServiceNow
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written and presentation skills required
  • Ability to prioritize work without management direction and have the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new concepts, capabilities or tools based on the needs.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
