Responsibilities

SafeGuard Services (SGS), a subsidiary of Peraton, performs data analysis, investigation, and medical review to detect, prevent, deter, reduce, and make referrals to recover fraud, waste, and abuse.

We are looking to add a data analysis Manager to our SGS team of talented professionals

What you'll do:

This position entails providing direction to a staff of data analyst and data team leads to identify, analyze and research issues of potential fraud, waste and abuse. Primary responsibilities include oversight and assistance in the development of data analysis projects for referrals for investigative and audit teams. Develop and assist in internal work processes and policy development when needed to improve analysis and reporting efficiency. Develop and present data project findings as needed to support key personnel through formal and informal presentations to stakeholders.

    Establish goals, objectives and plans for the team
  • Motivate staff and evaluate performance
  • Plan resources to address workload needs, set priorities and report unit activity
  • Develop, administer, and control a budget
  • Ensure team adheres to corporate polices and oversee required training
  • Recruit and develop staff

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6 years of experience, may have lead experience
  • Must have a minimum of 6 years of data analysis experience.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of management related experience.
  • This position requires proven leadership skills and understanding of the Medicare and Medicaid Program as it pertains to analyzing claims and provider behavior for indications of potential fraud, waste and abuse.
  • Excellent organizational and communications skills as well as strong PC skills.
  • Ability to effectively work independently and as a member of a team
  • U.S. citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Medicaid claims processing and state policy application regarding payments with states/territories and managed care programs.
  • Able to speak and present comfortably to a variety of audiences in the program integrity area.
  • Programming knowledge in Python, R, R Studio and/or SAS.
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence methods and applications.

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
