Qualifications EDUCATION MD, DO or equivalent; successful completion of internal medicine residency and pulmonary-critical care and sleep fellowship in accredited programs; 5 years of post-fellowship practice in puolmonary-critical care diseases and sleep medicine, preferably to include a significant role in education of fellows and residents; board certification in internal medicine and pulmonary-critical care medicine and sleep medicine. EXPERIENCE As above--5 years post fellowship training. LICENSURE As above; also, eligible to be licensed in the state of CT. SPECIAL SKILLS All those procedures expected of a clinical pulmonologist/critical care physician, as well as sleep medicine. PHYSICAL DEMAND MMR is required. Varivax (chicken pox vaccine) or evidence of prior chicken pox is required. Hepatitis B (or signed declination) is required for those with potential exposure to blood/body fluids. Tdap and influenza vaccination are strongly encouraged. Significant call and clinical responsibility committment during time spent as MICU attending. YNHHS Requisition ID 152526 |
