Position Title: Material Handler/Paint-Line Attendant
Wage: $22.50-$25.50/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 3pm-1am Monday-Thursday We're hiring a Material Handler/Paint-Line Attendant for a company in Waukesha, WI. Material Handler/Paint-Line Attendant Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Transport raw materials, parts, and finished goods to and from storage areas, workstations, and the paint line using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks - Maintain accurate records and ensure materials are staged in the correct order to keep production running smoothly - Hang and remove parts from the paint line, inspect them for defects, and prepare them for painting by cleaning, masking, or pretreating surfaces - Monitor the paint line operation and report any issues to maintenance or supervisory staff - Finished parts must be checked to meet quality standards, with any necessary touch-ups or rework completed before parts are packaged appropriately to avoid damage Material Handler/Paint-Line Attendant Requirements: - High school diploma or GED - At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting - Prior experience working on a paint line or handling materials is preferred - Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift - Basic math, reading, and communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to follow instructions and contribute to a team environment - Attention to detail and a strong focus on safety and quality are essential - Forklift certification is a plus - Work in a fast-paced production environment with exposure to heat, noise, and paint fumes - Frequent standing, lifting, reaching, and walking, along with manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination - Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
