Regional Account Executive

The position is responsible for growing sales to a group of regional clients that either purchase or have headquarters in a given geography. This role will establish strategic account plans, while building and maintaining relationships with decision makers and influencers at clients' headquarters and regional offices.

Responsibilities



  • The position will deliver compelling presentations to impact the actions, thoughts and beliefs of the audience, positioning Sherwin-Williams as a trusted partner.
  • This position is responsible for effectively reaching mutually satisfactory solutions, both internal and external, through negotiations that strengthen relationships and advance goal attainment efforts.
  • This is done by assembling resources, executing strategic agreements through our field organization and communicating account priorities to each of the divisions.


Basic Qualifications:



  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must have the ability to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.


Required:



  • High school diploma or comparable certification (e.g. GED). Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills as a large volume Sales Rep.
  • Effective leadership skills & demonstrated ability to direct selling teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to create high level client relationships.
  • Ability to establish credibility through consistent communication, execution and performance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated significant successful Sales & Marketing experience.
