Energy Storage Marketing & Growth Leader

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

In this role you will lead the growth initiatives focused on the Electrical Grid and Utility Infrastructure. This role is ideal for an energetic individual with a deep knowledge of Energy Storage and a strong desire to serve our customers and win, both professionally and personally. This role will work with product management, sales and marketing leaders to capture market, product and competitive insights.

Develop Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Create and drive growth strategy, which includes, market-back analysis backed by VOC, segmentation, industry trends that drive new innovations, and strategies to increase share of wallet

  • Create short- and long-term strategies for growth, including sustained vertical penetration within specific geographies

  • Identify where specifications are created, and co-create channel maps with sales teams

  • Provide recommendations on Pricing, Supply Chain and Operations based on market expectations

Deployment

  • Advise the business development managers and Sales organization on how/where to find new opportunities, and new product development

  • Provide product and application training and guidance

  • Guide marketing team on NPI and vertical focused marketing programs, including positioning, value proposition tools, and sales collateral (e.g. launch kits, case studies, white papers and sales communications)

  • Actively communicate competitive feedback and market dynamics internally to help further improve solution selling and market messages

  • Represent nVent in customer meetings and assist in negotiations/strategy sessions

YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred

  • Experience in Energy Storage or related Infrastructure markets, preferably a Battery OEM or EPC

  • Ideally 8 + years outside sales/business development activities and marketing program management experience in electrical distribution and sales in the construction industry

  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time within North America and Europe.

Pay Transparency

nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$123,500.00 - $229,500.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
