YOUR IMPACT

As a Senior Solutions Consultant supporting strategic accounts and channel sales teams across the U.S., you will play a pivotal role in technical sales enablement, partner success, and solution evangelism. Working remotely, you will collaborate closely with sales, product, and channel organizations to deliver tailored cybersecurity solutions that address complex customer challenges.

You will lead technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts while shaping solution strategy and responding to customer requirements. Your expertise will help drive successful outcomes across enterprise email compliance, data protection, and security initiatives. Your ability to influence internally and externally, along with your strong communication skills, will be critical to your and our customers' success.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

  • Lead technical pre-sales engagements aligned with strategic accounts and partners.

  • Drive technical sales presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept activities based on customer needs.

  • Articulate the value of OpenText Cybersecurity solutions across email compliance, data protection, and data security domains.

  • Collaborate with sales and product management teams to shape and align solution strategy.

  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs and develop tailored, compelling solution proposals.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert across multiple cybersecurity product lines.

  • Participate in trade shows, webinars, and marketing initiatives to support business growth.

  • Opportunity to grow technical skills and professional experience in a dynamic cybersecurity space.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • 5+ years of pre-sales or solutions consulting experience, ideally with strategic or enterprise accounts.

  • Deep understanding of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity, including:

    • Email compliance (encryption, threat protection)

    • Data security (threat detection, DNS protection)

    • Data protection (endpoint, server, SaaS backup)

    • Networking (Active Directory, DNS, SMTP, VPNs, firewalls)

    • Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM)

    • SaaS platforms (Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Dynamics, Azure)

    • Scripting/APIs (PowerShell, REST)

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, SOC2, and PCI.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills tailored to both technical and business audiences.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
