Genesis10 is currently seeking a Java/MuleSoft Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, support and deploy custom web api applications Create software documentation and update existing documentation Implement best practices, standards and procedures including quality and delivery methodologies Ensure compliance with documented software processes throughout the life cycle of existing and new software products Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and organizational security policies. Implement security best practices across Mulesoft and Java applications Develop and implement integration strategies using Mulesoft to enhance operational efficiency. Contribute to initiatives aimed at optimizing application performance and scalability Engage in continuous improvement efforts by sharing insights on enhancing workflows and processes Design, develop and implement integration solutions using the Mulesoft Anypoint Platform and Spring boot technologies Develop clean and progressively enhanced code for complex enterprise applications Requirements: 2+ years of API development experience with MuleSoft 5+ years of Middle tier development Webservices, spring boot, REST 3+ years of backend database development Oracle preferred Experience in using SDM tools JIRA, Jenkins, BitBucket, etc. Very strong communication skills, and ability to interact with senior technology management Broad knowledge of Information Security technologies, techniques and processes A deep understanding of API design, data integration, and enterprise application architecture An individual of high integrity, energy and optimism who is self-directed and motivated Financial sector experience An individual with excellent communication skills, both oral and written; a person who is articulate and a good presenter of ideas A good listener; a person who seeks input and involves others in his/her communications; a person who values and cultivates relationships An individual with a demonstrated ability to get things done and make things happen; a person who is resourceful, seizes opportunities and is an innovator An entrepreneurial individual who is not afraid to challenge; a person who is creative and can think "outside the box A professional who wants to contribute to the organization and is results oriented Pay Range: $50.42-$58.42 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
