As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology and media location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment by conducting regular patrols throughout the premises. Your presence will help to deter potential security-related incidents while you interact with employees, visitors, and guests, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will be responsible for monitoring access points, assisting with badge and access control procedures, and responding promptly to any security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.62 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, which may include both indoor and outdoor areas within a technology, media, or telecom environment.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with company and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
