Exercise Physiologist - Cardiac Rehab - CNRVMC - Flex Time

This position is located at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center (CNRVMC) in Christiansburg, VA. This position is flex time, similar to prn, working as needed, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm.

The role of exercise physiologist is to integrate the components of clinician, teacher, consultant, and researcher. The exercise physiologist will use expertise in cardiovascular specialty areas to develop, monitor, and assess exercise programs for patients.

Education: B.S. required, M.S. preferred.

Experience: 24 months recent & relevant experience.

License/certification and or registration: Certification in cardiovascular clinical area preferred (i.e. Exercise Test Technologist, Exercise Specialist).

Life Support: Current AHA-BLS and ACLS certification.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Desire to work within a comprehensive health care team.Commitment to a healthy lifestyle as a model for participants and staff.
