Group/Division Enabling the movement toward advanced chip design, KLA's Measurement, Analytics and Control group (MACH) is looking for the best and brightest research scientists, software engineers, application development engineers and senior product technology process engineers to join our team. The MACH team's mission is to collaborate with our customers to innovate technologies and solutions that detect and control highly complex process variations-at their source-rather than compensate for them at later stages of the manufacturing process. Job Description/Preferred Qualifications We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Applications Engineer to support the installation, upgrade, and technical support of the Klarity ACE product. This role involves hands-on technical implementation, project management for beta and product adoption, and close collaboration with both HQ and local business units to drive customer success and business outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Lead installation, upgrade, and technical support activities for Klarity ACE at customer sites. Manage beta deployments and facilitate product adoption through effective project management. Collaborate with HQ and local business units to align technical solutions with business goals. Provide ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) support for data integration and migration tasks. Maintain and troubleshoot enterprise applications in customer environments. Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation. Analyze and resolve complex technical issues with a problem-solving mindset. Preferred qualifications: Prior experience with Klarity Defect and Klarity ACE is a strong plus. Experience in the semiconductor industry is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required. Excellent documentation, problem-solving, and project management skills. Minimum Qualifications Masters degree and 6+ years of experience OR Bachelors degree with 8+ years of relevant experience . Strong knowledge of Oracle databases and PL/SQL. Proficiency in one or more programming languages: C#, C, C++, Python. Experience with ETL processes and data transformation. Proven experience in installing and maintaining enterprise applications. Solid understanding of UNIX/Linux systems and shell scripting. Familiarity with software development principles and system architecture.
