WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

Momentum Worldwide is looking for a driven Director to be a key member of the Business Leadership team in support of an OTC brand that is part of a global pharma client. In this role you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the yearly marketing plan to both the Consumer target as well as Professional (doctors).This will include driving the yearly media plan (with our media partners) as well as managing a team of Business Leaders, Strategists and Creatives to execute that plan. You will be the face of the agency to our client and the day-to-day point person for the most senior of our clients, the Brand Director. You will also act as senior leadership for the others on the Momentum team as they work with their day-to-day contacts pushing forward the vision and strategy on the projects they are leading.We're looking for a highly motivated self-starter who is comfortable working independently. We're looking for someone who is detail oriented and highly organized as there are consistent needs to pivot project priorities in a fast-changing environment. The ideal candidate excels at creating and actively maintaining relationships, is a strong communicator, consistently strives to identify and solve client business challenges, and can provide guidance to junior team members. This individual also has experience in Shopper Marketing and/or the CPG / Retail industry.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)



  • Contributing to the conceptualization of marketing programs and event/sponsorship activation ideas through multiple types of media with ability to find/contribute unique and creative ideas for projects
  • Developing rapport with clients and their other agency partners through providing day-to-day client contact, managing the relationship & expectations, and troubleshooting conflicts with senior clients and team members as they arise
  • Developing and managing client business as an integral member of brand team with the agency and the client.
  • Guiding the team in identifying opportunities, strategic thinking and subsequent development of integrated marketing programs across brand portfolios.
  • On-strategy project planning and execution according to Agency standards within established budgets and timeframes
  • Building, managing and reconciling client budgets
  • Attaining annual revenue and contribution margin targets.
  • Along with budget development and management, developing staffing plans supporting business.
  • Successfully participating in the managing of project financials in accordance with agency policy and procedure
  • Researching and developing all key performance indicators and metrics
  • Demonstrating passion for the best creative product.
  • Developing and delivering compelling client and new business presentations.
  • Active in obtaining progressive experiences and continuing education/training in handling broader aspects of project management
  • Demonstrating working knowledge of Momentum's core disciplines and being proactive in growing client business across the agency.
  • Partnering with account and creative team(s) within agency and the client in developing, pitching and managing client business
  • Manage and mentor direct report(s); fostering an environment of mutual respect and partnership, strategic thinking, appropriate risk taking, open lines of communication, on-going performance feedback, professional development and adherence to agency policy.

HERE'S WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS)



  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years related experience in marketing
  • 3+ years agency experience preferred
  • Experience within the retail, CPG, Shopper Marketing space is a must
  • An entrepreneurial attitude. Pro-active thinking. Ability to drive thoughtful dialog, own a room and roll with the punches
  • This Director needs to be a master tactician but a big thinker as well - both skills are necessary and required for the role
  • Experience in the execution of retail-focused programs is a must
  • Holistic understanding of Shopper Marketing/CPG to act as consultant for clients
  • Strong integrated marketing skills - understanding of how to drive strategy development through creative concepting and on to event/program execution
  • Successful and resourceful client manager with an ability to build relationships and business effectively
  • Keen ability to identify opportunities and resolve challenges
  • Previous experience guiding integrated multi-disciplinary teams to meet client goals - successful with time management and clear delegation
  • Experience managing/training/mentoring more junior team members
  • Experience building and managing budgets
  • Organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently between accounts and projects
