Summary:
The Mammography Technologist II role performs diagnostic imaging exams and procedures to assist providers in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Promotes patient safety, verifies identification prior to exam, verifies patient physician(s), and assists Radiologists in sterile procedures. Steps in as lead if necessary.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
  2. License/Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required. Current registration in Mammography required. Valid Maine License in Radiologic Technology required. Must maintain an additional three CME credits above requirement for license. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Valid Driver's License required.
  3. Experience: Two years of experience as a Mammography Technologist preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of the Mammography Technologist I role.
