PURPOSE:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Trade Compliance Analyst to be part of FormFactor's trade compliance team. This role involves monitoring requests, analyzing, documenting, and executing trade compliance processes. This position works across all of FormFactor's businesses, interfaces regularly with trade compliance peers, functional partners and reports to the Director of Regulatory Compliance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Work with internal groups to obtain information regarding product classification (HTS/ECCN), country of origin, and documentation for import entries and export declarations.
  • Process and validate import and export shipping documentation.
  • Conduct internal assessments of customs entries and export declarations.
  • Reconcile import/export discrepancies and assist in the preparation of protests or post entry adjustments.
  • Maintain and distribute reports of import and export compliance activities and tariff optimization efforts.
  • Conduct due diligence of customers, business partners, and transactions. Review and document restricted and sanctioned party screening results. Review order and shipment holds.
  • Monitor restricted party list updates.
  • Support any special projects or critical casework including classifications, licensing, audits, and other compliance related tasks.
  • Support record keeping and documentation efforts.



EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:


  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of trade compliance experience.
  • Knowledge of customs and export classification (Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and ECCN classification).
  • Familiarity with Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions and embargo regulations.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and trade management information systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a problem solver, flexible, innovative, and adaptive.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with company personnel.



The pay range for this role in Livermore, CA is between $71,400 and $93,660. The pay range may differ in other locations. FormFactor maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
