Director, Demand Generation and Field Marketing Overview: The Director of Marketing at Majesco will oversee growth and field marketing to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, pipeline quality, and expansion, as well as customer retention. Reporting to the CRO, this candidate will build and lead a diverse team. This role involves developing and executing strategies that align with Majesco's overall business objectives, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation, and ensuring the seamless integration of all marketing activities. They will have strong alignment with the Communications, Corporate, and Product marketing departments. Responsibilities: Leadership and Strategy:
- Inspire and Motivate: Create a culture of excellence, innovation, and urgency within the marketing teams, inspiring team members to deliver their best work.
- Strategic Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with sales leadership, product and industry experts, and the Strategic Market Solutions Group to develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with pipeline creation and market awareness goals.
- Integrated Campaigns: Ensure all marketing campaigns are aligned with core themes and company objectives, reducing the likelihood of one-off activities.
- Team Leadership: Lead, recruit, and manage a diverse team providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team's success in executing marketing initiatives.
Growth Marketing:
- Demand Generation: Develop and manage lead generation campaigns across various channels such as email, paid search, paid social, and SEO to drive high-quality leads into the sales funnel.
- Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Implement ABM strategies targeting key accounts, tailoring marketing efforts to meet the specific needs and pain points of target customers and existing customers.
- Digital Marketing: Oversee the company's website strategy, email marketing campaigns, and performance marketing efforts to ensure exceptional user experience and ROI.
- Lifecycle Marketing: Map out and optimize customer journeys, ensuring all touchpoints provide value and enhance customer experience.
Field Marketing:
- Actionable Plans: Translate strategic direction into actionable field marketing and sales plans that effectively target key markets, segments, and buyer personas, driving significant sales pipeline growth.
- Market Insights: Stay aware of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape in each region to inform strategic decision-making and enhance the effectiveness of field marketing efforts.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- KPI Development: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing/demand generation initiatives such as lead generation, conversion rates, customer analytics, opportunity analysis, plus much more.
- Insight Generation: Regularly analyze marketing data to generate insights, making data-driven recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness and ROI.
- Executive Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports for a monthly executive team review, highlighting the performance and impact of marketing activities.
Event Planning and Management:
- Event Prioritization: Annually meet with key organization leaders to methodically prioritize a list of potential events for Majesco to sponsor, participate, attend, or host to drive awareness, build demand, while impressing the industry with our presence and organizational excellence
- Event Planning and Execution: Ensure all events are well planned, have proper staff attending, well structured pre-planning mtgs, clear objectives and KPIs to track per event, and post event analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in field or growth marketing or related roles with a proven track record of driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention in a global environment.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to recruit, motivate, and inspire others to achieve their full potential across diverse cultural and geographical contexts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in measurement and analysis, able to translate insights into actionable strategies and recommendations.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to drive initiatives with minimal direction.
What Majesco Offers: Majesco is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $180,000. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors.
