We are seeking a Mid SPY-1 Engineer (Full-Time)

Located on-site in Port Hueneme, CA.

Job Description:

* Engineering, technical, and logistics support for code E41, SPY-1 transmitter engineering branch. System: SPY-1 radar system.

* System variants required include SPY-1D, SPY-1D(v), SPY-1B/B(v), on Cruisers, Destroyers, and shore sites.

* Technical experience with Signal Processor, Antenna, and Transmitter maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, assessment, alignment, and servicing.

* Familiarity with Signal Processor variants (Legacy In service Signal Processor (ISSP), and Multi Mission Signal Processor (MMSP)).

* Expertise required with the transmitter system as this system is the focus area.

* Technical documentation reviews-need support for reviewing technical manuals and Maintenance Requirement Cards and incorporating updates. Other documentation reviews include ordalts, engineering change proposals, drawings, and diagrams.

* Events may include shipboard and shore site support during assessments, modernization periods, on board tech assist, ship riding, test and evaluation, inspections, validation, and verification of documentation.

* Other events may include in progress reviews, presentations, and training events, as needed.

* Travel is required for OCONUS and CONUS.

* May be urgent based on mission requirements.

* Underway support may be required.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering, demonstrating a strong foundation in analytical thinking, scientific methodology, and problem-solving skills.

* 3-5 years of experience.
