Job Overview

Contribute toward the efficient operation in the machining department, by performing various tasks for the Inline and ABM machine's. Contributing to solving production process problems, making equipment, and equipment adjustments. Utilizing good working knowledge of tool and die. Complies with current ISO requirements, all safety requirements, and good housekeeping.

A Day In The Life

  • Design and develop new tools to meet production requirements and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Modify existing tools to better suit production needs or to correct design flaws.
  • Diagnose issues with tools and execute timely repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Work closely with production teams to understand tooling needs and requirements.
  • Manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.
  • Ensure that critical tools and materials are in stock and available for use when needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of tool designs, repairs, maintenance schedules, and other relevant documentation.

  • Proven experience in tooling or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of tooling materials, machinery, and design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Train production staff on the proper use of tools and equipment.
