Workday HRIS Analyst with Zendesk skills (Contract) Location: Remote Rate: $40.00 an hour W2 Department: People Operations Description About the Role We're looking for a collaborative and tech-savvy HRIS Analyst to join our People Operations (POps) team. This role will play a key part in supporting and optimizing Workday HCM and integrated platforms such as Zendesk (ticketing), Greenhouse (ATS), and Lessonly (LMS). The ideal candidate is passionate about problem-solving, system improvements, and creating smooth, data-driven HR experiences. Key Responsibilities * Maintain and enhance Workday HCM modules, including Core, Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management, Time Tracking, and Security. * Provide day-to-day support for HRIS inquiries, configuration updates, and system troubleshooting. * Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure integrations across Zendesk, Greenhouse, and Lessonly are functioning properly and supporting business needs. * Execute and test configuration changes, system enhancements, and new feature rollouts within Workday. * Build, maintain, and optimize Workday reports, including calculated fields and dashboards for HR, Finance, and business partners. * Conduct regular data audits and validation to ensure data integrity, particularly when processing EIBs and large data loads. * Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for system configurations, processes, and changes. * Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance platform usability. * Support training and adoption through documentation and cross-team collaboration. * Ensure timely resolution of Zendesk tickets in alignment with established SLAs. Requirements * 3+ years of HRIS experience, with a strong focus on Workday HCM configuration and reporting. * Familiarity with platforms such as Zendesk, Greenhouse, and Lessonly. * Strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas). * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to partner across HR, Finance, and IT teams. * Detail-oriented, analytical thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving. * Working knowledge of HR and Payroll operations and related system dependencies. * Experience creating and maintaining Workday reports and calculated fields. * Comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Support training and adoption through documentation and cross-team collaboration. * Ensure timely resolution of Zendesk tickets in alignment with established SLAs. Preferred Qualifications * Experience supporting global HRIS initiatives or multi-country Workday configurations. * Familiarity with Zendesk ticketing workflows and HR system documentation best practices. * Exposure to LMS or ATS workflows and system integrations. * Workday Pro Certification or completion of Workday Benefits or HCM Fundamentals training.
