JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Effectively schedule and route tractor trailers to meet delivery times and profitability.
  • Responsible for scheduling and dispatching of all Tractor Trailer drivers within multiple locations.
  • Answer all incoming transportation calls.
  • Schedule and facilitate monthly driver meetings to relay information to drivers, gain feedback, and communicate company performance.
  • Responsible for customer contact in regards to trucking schedule (pick-up, delivery, late arrivals, etc.)
  • Responsible for managing driver times, attendance, and paperwork on a daily basis.
  • Responsible for completion of yearly performance reviews for drivers
  • Coordinate effective use of outside haulers.
  • Maintaining accurate totals of Inside & Outside hauls on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Responsible for accurate feedback regarding errors in efficiency weekly with service and the counter

RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience in service-related industry.
  • Organizational Development skills
  • Leadership skills. Motivated self-starter
  • Communication skills
  • Computer literacy: basics of Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, D365
