What you will be doing:

* Monitors and communicates global regulatory changes that impact on Human Resource (HR) services.
* Maintains and updates a knowledge base of applicable laws and regulations.
* Offers guidance on implementing regulatory changes and partners with colleagues across HR on compliance topics
* Communicates detailed requirements to the leaders, validates solution approach and monitors status.
* Provides compliance reviews and direction for new and expanding processes and services.
* Responds to issues and matters pertaining to regulatory compliance of HR services and business activities.

* Participate in the review and creation of accurate job descriptions and oversee correct FLSA classifications.
* Performs periodic reviews and evaluations of HR services and business activities to validate compliance with applicable laws and regulations or detect regulatory violations, weak controls or other potential areas of exposure.
* Conducts compliance assessments and provides direction on any deficiencies detected by those assessments.
* Meets with Compliance Officers on a regular basis for status updates on compliance issues.
* Monitors compliance activities to verify that regulatory compliance deadlines and requirements are met.
* Tracks and validates compliance deficiencies to resolution.
* Develops compliance related communications, sessions/presentations, and trainings.
* Administers training sessions promoting compliance awareness and tracking.
* Identifies areas of potential improvement and works with partners to implement improvements.
* Provides updates for periodic reports.
* Interfaces with global legal counsel and federal, state and local agencies, as needed to address regulatory or compliance issues, concerns or questions.
* Assists the business with responses to customer compliance-specific questions, audits and concerns.
* Prepares and approves internal communications covering compliance issues (bulletins, position statements, monthly reports, etc.)

* Maintain employee records and files (both digital and paper processes)
* Perform other related duties assigned as needed.


What you bring:

* Requires three or more years of experience in the regulatory compliance field

* Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner
* Comprehensive knowledge of at least one substantive area of HR compliance, such as payroll controls and regulations, anti-money laundering, or anti-corruption

* Experience in key HR compliance control environments, such as SOX, GAAP, or ISO27001-2022 (HR)
* Excellent analytical skills
* Ability to understand technical documents and legal or regulatory reference materials
* Ability to understand and apply learned concepts
* Demonstrated ability to plan and complete work within tight time limitations
* Ability to apply creative problem solving techniques and tools to compliance issues
* Ability to follow and conduct a compliance monitoring program
* Ability to provide information to a variety of audiences and deal effectively with confidential issues that are sensitive in nature
* Ability to share information with awareness of its effect on others
