Position Summary:

As our EH&S Coordinator you will be responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring the company's health and safety policies and procedures. You will ensure the Company is compliant with OSHA health and safety regulations. In addition you will be responsible for reducing and/or preventing hazards, danger, and accidents. Also, you will need to ensure the health and safety of the workers but also of the workplace, environment, and general public.

Qualifications & Requirements:



  • Knowledge of applicable state/federal laws, regulations, nationally recognized standards and guidelines, as related to specialized environmental health and safety functions of the position.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to utilize time and resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Sense of urgency; ability to take action quickly in a fast-paced environment. Ability to complete tasks on time with high quality.
  • Experienced in using CERS for county hazardous materials reporting.
  • Proficient with SMARTS for county stormwater sampling reporting.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Leads, and Supervisors to identify machine-related hazards and potential risks.
  • Hold HAZWOPER certification, OSHA 10 (minimum), and Forklift Training credentials.


  • Strong background in incident investigations, such as 5-Why, etc.

  • Accountable for implementing and monitoring OSHA regulations as well as Company safety policies and procedures. This includes complying with current health and safety regulations to ensure that all reasonable and proper measures are taken to protect the safety and health of employees and visitors. Responsibilities also include conducting necessary safety audits and employee training, coordinating the registration and disposal of hazardous waste materials, and investigating and reporting all injuries, accidents, and incidents involving employees and visitors. Additionally, this role is accountable for inspecting equipment and company property, reporting and responding to orders issued by inspectors from environmental, health, and safety agencies, and assisting all executives, managers, and supervisors with emergency preparedness.
  • Collaborate with personnel to establish safety guidelines, official announcements, related communications, and educational materials. Collaborate across Winchester in a way that leads by example, exhibits empathy, ensures task ownership, uses data to make decisions, and puts the customer first.
  • Empowered to promote health and safety awareness at all levels within the company, communicate effectively, and collaborate across departments to support and achieve company goals.

Pay Transparency:

Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $26.93/hr - $33.18/hr (DOE) plus incentive compensation. Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
