Description
SUMMARY We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Brand Marketing Coordinator to support the planning and execution of consumer-focused marketing priorities for Hallmark Media, including Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Mystery and our SVOD service, Hallmark+. The coordinator will work closely with cross functional teams on initiatives such as paid media campaigns, consumer promotions, email marketing, experiential events, sweepstakes, creative advertising development & email marketing initiatives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate the development & execution of consumer marketing tactics for Hallmark Media priorities across all areas including paid media, email marketing, promotional partnerships, events, synergy initiatives, sweepstakes, partnership recaps, premiums, etc. and other opportunities as they arise.
- Submit creative requests, manage creative spec sheet and approvals, traffic creative materials and track deadlines.
- Coordinate creative briefing process in conjunction with key internal and external stakeholders including managing tracking documents, planning timelines, incoming scripts, and updating briefs as needed.
- Plan monthly email marketing calendar, requesting creative, testing and scheduling email marketing and push notifications campaigns in Sailthru. Track performance and proactively recommend testing opportunities.
- Assist in developing monthly SVOD marketing priority outlines for creative development.
- Work with internal stakeholders to coordinate campaign research and prepare in-depth competitive research across multiple platforms.
- Schedule meetings with internal and external teams; update and distribute marketing communications such as status reports, agendas and meeting recaps.
- Provide additional support across departmental marketing and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Undergraduate degree from a four-year college or university in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field.
- 1-3 years of professional marketing experience within the entertainment industry or related field, strong interest in entertainment marketing preferred.
- Passion for television and connecting with consumers in innovative and disruptive ways.
- Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills coupled with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across multiple departments.
- Enthusiastic self-starter with excellent analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, curious, detail-oriented, and proficient at juggling multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and able to maintain a high level of accuracy while working under deadlines and exceptional follow-through skills.
- Ability to problem-solve/troubleshoot operational or business issues.
- Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, file sharing sites, streaming platforms & all social media platforms.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in consumer marketing within the Entertainment or Tech field.
- A desire to test and learn and are comfortable with ambiguity.
- A strong business and marketing acumen.
- Proven ability to seek out and analyze data, both internal and external, to bring fresh insights.
- Ability to interact and communicate professionally with management at different levels, internal and external audiences, and the ultimate Hallmark consumer.
- Possess a high degree of curiosity to find new, compelling ways to reach and communicate with consumers.
- Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and influence internal partners across a matrixed organization.
The salary range for this job is between $21.01 - $27.99. Salary rate will take into consideration several factors including location. Hallmark Media is an equal opportunity employer.
