What you'll do

AlixPartners commits to our people's growth, development, and career progression. In this critical role on AlixPartners' Partnership Matters team, you will be responsible for the supporting our leadership team across a broad range of areas. At its core, this role will work closely with the Partnership Matters Office (PMO) team and across all corporate teams and offices to assist in the management of firmwide annual processes related to hiring, promotions, compensation, and reviews. You will ensure all parties experience a timely, efficient, caring, and high-quality interaction with the PMO. You will also help manage global equity programs and other related partnership-affiliated programs. The role is vital to making sure everyone has the information they need, when they need it, to provide a seamless, thoughtful experience for all parties. Being proactive and thinking ahead of the ask will be vital in this trusted role.

The Partnership Matters Senior Professional reports to the Partner Matters Partners. This role is in New York, NY. Paid relocation is not available. Occasional travel may be expected.

Specifically, you will:



  • Project manage complex annual processes focusing on clear communication, efficiency, and a shifting set of tasks and responsibilities.
  • Draft and manage contracts and agreements that fall under the PMO umbrella of responsibility.
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and negotiation of contracts and agreements.
  • Monitor contract compliance and manage contract renewals and amendments.
  • Work with colleagues in your team and other groups to continually find and improve internal processes.
  • Partner with Administrative colleagues to coordinate schedules and ensure stakeholders are aligned - going the extra mile to make sure all parties are up to date, informed and have what they need including sending prep emails.
  • Capture and action requests, problem solving when conflicts arise with a mind to the parties involved and stakeholder experience, with an expeditious nature. Ensure that everyone is kept well informed with open communication channels.
  • Manage meeting preparation as needed including reserving meeting rooms, IT coordination, and lunch / catering.

What you'll need



  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience within a corporate or professional services setting.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a paralegal or similar role is highly preferred.
  • Problem solving - proactive and able to think "ahead of the ask" on both large- and small-scale tasks.
  • Exercises discretion and professional judgment with confidential and sensitive matters.
  • Ability to work independently to drive multiple, shifting priorities with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent client-service orientation and experience demonstrating the ability to influence and successfully collaborate with a range of global stakeholders across a complex matrix.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to present to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience using project management tools or approaches.
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Teams, and Word. Advanced proficiency with Excel.
  • Core working hours are generally 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday; willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and as unique projects/needs arise.
  • Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.

The firm offers a comprehensive benefits program including health, vision, dental, disability, 401K, tuition reimbursement, identity theft protection, and mental wellness support. Employees will also receive a generous paid leave policy including vacation/personal time starting at 7.34 hours per pay period, sick time up to 80 hours annually, parental leave, and twelve holidays.

The salary range for this role takes into account a number of factors and is between $40/hr. - $46/hr. with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
