As part of Peacock's Content Evaluation, Forecasting, & Advanced Analytics team, you will support the sourcing, evaluation, and acquisition of potential series, films and other modes of content for Peacock. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of data analytics, finance, and forecasting. The candidate will have strong technical, analytical, and within the financial space with the ability to inform and influence business strategy. As Manager, you will be responsible for forecasting performance estimates using appropriate methodologies, dimensions and metrics in support of Peacock content deal-making. This role will sit within the Decision Sciences group and support the wider organization with impactful content performance insights utilizing 1st and 3rd party data sets as well as marketplace intel to drive other key business decisions. This position will have a tangible impact on Peacock's growth and success as it establishes itself as a major player in the global streaming landscape. Responsibilities *Support the greenlight and content deal-making process by building valuation models and pro forma analyses to estimate the total value of prospective content across Originals, Acquisitions, Film, and Sports *Build performance forecasting models across a variety of dimensions & metrics using 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data *Develop and execute complex queries and scripts to produce accurate data insights and drive pro forma estimates in a timely manner *Scale data-driven initiatives through expertly crafted analytical frameworks, documentation, and reuseable code *Track and report on content performance on Peacock to provide insights to partners in Content Strategy, Finance, Marketing, and Programming *Demonstrate the ability to handle urgent deadlines and high-pressure situations, delivering accurate information in response to executive needs and follow-ups *Evangelize performance stories, data democratization and data-driven decision making throughout the organization *Foster a culture of inclusion, analytical rigor, and contribute to a diverse, equitable work culture at Peacock Qualifications/Requirements *4+ years of experience in Media/Entertainment/Tech industry and with analytical experience working with large, complex data sets and analytical tools *Experience building complex forecasting or financial models that leverage insights from 1st and 3rd party data sets and operate via well informed business assumptions *Advanced SQL coding skills for analytics and data analysis *Expertise in Excel and financial modeling *Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Analytics, Data Science or a related field *Skills* sql, forecast modeling, financial modeling, python, R *Top Skills Details* sql,forecast modeling,financial modeling *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Desired Characteristics *Strategic thinker with ability to derive conclusions and recommendations from raw data *Team oriented and collaborative with an aptitude and willingness to learn *Ability to execute innovative methods and processes *Passion for television, films & the media/entertainment industry *Strong sense of curiosity, accountability, and ability to execute projects of all sizes with vision & purpose *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $68.00 - $78.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
