TEKsystems in partnership with leading healthcare client in search of a Medical Biller! Must have EPIC experience. Description * will work out of an EPIC que and excel to finish up the lab patient registration process * will be matching the diagnosis code for each encounter and attaching it to each CPT code on the claim * will verify insurance and eligibility along with providing denial follow up with the payer * true reference lab on 1500 claims, not UB claims. (The CMS-1500 form is used for non-institutional claims by individual healthcare providers, while the UB-04 (CMS-1450) form is used for institutional claims by facilities like hospitals) Skills EPIC, AR Follow Up, Denials Top Skills Details EPIC,AR Follow Up,Denials Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work independently Strong Excel knowledge Strong computer skills AR Follow Up Billing - understanding of CPT codes EPIC Want someone with 5+ years of experience to the project and autonomy needed Experience Level Intermediate Leve Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
