This role is a member of the MACS Networks team reporting directly to the
Director of Cloud RAN Solution Architecture and is based in Plano, Texas.
What you will do:
- Drive the analysis of customer requirements and Cloud RAN Solution Design and provide technical leadership for the sales cycle to understand size and scope and customer requirements for complex solutions implementation.
- Drive Cloud RAN Solution Integration in the customer network as per project timelines.
- Lead the Customer Punch list to track all the existing issues and feature requests and coordinate with all the stakeholders to head it towards the Product vision which is aligned with the customer expectations.
- Handle the early Product Introduction and perform the demonstrations for all the strategic features.
- Coordinate the Cloud RAN solution implementation plan and to track the features' roadmap.
- Provide technical leadership for preparations and reviews of detailed Statements of Work, Method of Procedures, Test Object list, Test plans and schedules of activities involving Ericsson's Cloud RAN solution portfolio.
- Monitor the performance in terms of quality and cost for the installation, testing and integration of Ericsson Cloud RAN nodes as well as its design and integration to achieve optional technical and business performance.
- Steer the processes towards end-to-end automation and identify opportunities for AI/ML.
- Drive the business-critical technical issues and escalations and to route it towards the resolution with active communication and coordination with all the stakeholders.
- Guide the breakdown of problems of complex scope, architectural challenges or impediments related to timely release of features with an analysis and exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
The skills you bring:
- At least 5 years' R&D or service delivery experience in in RAN with a focus on LTE and 5G technologies.
- Demonstrated technology leadership, strong communication and influencing skills, and strong customer interactions skills
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end RAN solutions and LTE/5G SA/NSA architectures in RAN services.
- Strong understanding of Cloud RAN, Open-RAN, Cloud Native (Docker and K8S), and SMO.
- Hands-on experience with Ericsson RAN for solution design, deployment, Integration, LCM (life cycle maintenance), troubleshooting, fault rectification, and solution support for UMTS, LTE/5G SA/NSA networks.
- Expertise in 4G/5G KPIs and performance monitoring metrics (throughput, latency, call drop rates)
- Proven experience in troubleshooting customer issues, RCA analysis and issue resolution with effective final solutions.

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Ericsson offers excellent health benefits including the choice of three medical plan options and a dental plan option that allow an employee to select the level of coverage that suits their needs. Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost that Ericsson pays toward the cost of their medical and dental premiums for themselves and eligible covered dependents.
Your Financial Security
We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson matches $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson's full matching contributions. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan.
Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
