OUR OPENING

Journey Group is seeking an experienced and results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to collaborate with the Director of Marketing & Communications to drive the strategy, execution, and optimization of our digital marketing efforts. This role is responsible for overseeing our digital platforms, assets, and channels to strengthen our brand presence, engage both current and prospective customers, and generate leads for business and employment needs.

What Would You Do as a DIGITAL MARKETING Specialist?



  • Own the digital marketing strategy and execution roadmap aligned with business goals and audience segments and elevate our presence across platforms.
  • Plan and manage paid digital campaigns (search, social, display, retargeting) to drive brand awareness, lead generation, or recruitment.
  • Oversee the website (UX, content updates, SEO/SEM strategies, performance tracking) to ensure its optimized for user experience and conversions.
  • Collaborate across departments (Human Resources, Business Development, Operations) to align messaging and support company-wide initiatives through digital channels.
  • Monitor analytics dashboards (Google Analytics, social insights, ad platforms) to generate monthly performance reports and recommendations.
  • Opportunities to shape and elevate a trusted brand with a 115-year legacy.
  • Provide input and insights into internal communications on digital platforms.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights and optimizations based on KPIs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to maintain brand consistency and align digital efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Create and manage a customer and prospect email marketing program, including content development, segmentation, deployment, and performance reporting.
  • Stay ahead of trends, tools, and best practices in digital marketing and construction-related communications.
  • Must be able and willing to create and maintain a good working relationship with all employees and clients.


EXPERINCE AND EDUCATION NEEDED



  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional digital marketing experience.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES NEEDED



  • Demonstrated success in managing paid digital campaigns, websites, social media, SEO, and email marketing programs.
  • Proficient in marketing platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Business Suite and Ads Manager, Google Analytics, SEO/SEM tools, and email platforms like Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools and integrating them with marketing workflows.
  • Strategic thinker who can connect marketing to business objectives.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and translate data into actionable insights and make data-informed recommendations.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to collaborate across departments; working knowledge of Monday.com project management software, or similar programs.
  • Working knowledge of visual platforms such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills tailored for digital platforms.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Clear, concise communicator across teams and channels.
  • Collaborative and receptive to feedback.
  • Understanding of B2B marketing strategy; experience in the construction/AEC industry is a bonus.
  • Able to embrace Journey Group core values.
  • Able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Able to think independently and problem solve.
  • Able to maintain a high degree of professionalism.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to safely work in a construction environment.


WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS



  • A majority of work takes place in an indoor office setting equipped with a computer, desk, phone, and other typical office equipment.
  • A collaborative team environment that values innovation and growth.
  • Must be able to inspect details at close range, interact, communicate, and exchange accurate information consistently.
  • Must be able to retain a stationary position for extended periods of time.
  • Travel to other locations and jobsites is occasionally required.
