Position Overview
The Technical Support Engineer is responsible for the overall systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation, integration, and technical services and support.

Job Functions/Responsibilities

*Designs, implements, installs, maintains, and administers infrastructures including hardware, software, and various configurations.
*Monitors overall performance to proactively identify potential issues and tune appropriately.
*Performs root cause analysis on failed components and implements corrective measures.
*Works with others to establish and improve processes and procedures.
*May have sole responsibility for projects and participate in disaster recovery exercises.
*Respond to all Accounts via telephone or the web.
*Manage relationships with customers.
*Maintain excellent customer satisfaction level.
*Work with cross-functional teams when required.
*Find technical resolutions to unknown or new scenarios.
*Keep up to date with all eCW products and their enhancements.
*Meet SLAs.
*Perform other job duties as assigned.

Experience/Education Requirements
*Bachelor's Degree required; master's degree preferred
*Adheres to all company policies and mandatory compliance protocols as required by eCW
*Experience with server side programming using VB / COM (preferred)
*Proficient with relational databases
*Experience with Java or .NET (preferred)
*Experience with Internet Protocols, HTTP / HTTPs
*Experience with XML / XSL
*Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
*Experience with Web Application Server(s)
*Understanding of N-Tier Architecture
*Proficient with SQL Server, MySQL
*Knowledge of TCP / IP / FTP Functionality
*Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, Java, J2E, Spring and Hibernate, Server-Side Validation
*Prior Technical support experience a plus
