Position Overview:

We have an exciting career opportunity for a Global Director, Human Resources as a strategic part of the Global Human Resources team in Microwave Products Group (MPG). This position is ideally located in our West Chester, Ohio office and will be part of the MPG executive leadership team.

In this autonomous, strategic role, you will lead and develop an HR team focused on factory operations, supply chain and procurement, with overall responsibility for comprehensive HR delivery.

The Global Human Resource Director will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of MPG HR strategies, initiatives & services to support the business strategic goal deployment (SGD) and annual operations plan (AOP) objectives in the various areas of talent acquisition, performance management, learning and skills development, compensation and organizational development
  • Provide dedicated guidance and coaching to multiple senior leaders and employees within a complex business environment
  • Provide dedicated guidance and coaching with specific focus on: employee advocacy/engagement, HR fundamentals and process training, employee relations management, performance management, career development, compensation planning, talent assessment, acquisition and retention and workplace investigations as appropriate
  • Support M&A activities in a high growth environment
  • Proactively deliver compensation, organizational design and strategies for workforce planning, deployment and retention, to address current and future expansion needs of the business, whilst simultaneously ensuring a diverse and globally oriented workforce
  • Drive the implementation and deployment of effective corporate HR procedures, policies, systems, standards and infrastructures, to ensure a systematic and integrated approach to HR solutions globally
  • Implements consistent, aligned staffing process and plans workforce bench and skill sets required and drives effective and efficient utilization of talent
  • Coaches and develops supervisors on how they can develop their teams, including assuring that supervisors understand the value of varying experience and perspectives within their teams.
  • Understands and articulates key labor issues and employment law within and across countries/states. Recommends actions/changes required to meet business results/strategies
  • Champion a culture of growth within the matrix set-up, conduct organizational assessments and upgrade talent through strategic staffing and talent 'pipeline' development
  • Lead and develop effective succession planning, retention, performance management, communication, employee satisfaction and employee development
  • Ensures compliance with all legal requirements
  • Provides oversight to HR leaders across the Operations function and ensures issues and customer needs are handled in a RIGHT and FAST manner
  • Ensures that the company has effective communication systems, including the use of technology, coaching business leaders, and providing helpful, compliant written materials
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to HR challenges
  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of learning and development strategies to enhance employee skills, support career growth and align with organizational goals
  • Ensures the accuracy of HRIS and payroll for all facilities
  • Coordinates HR work with the EHS teams to ensure safe work environments and timely reporting and management of work-related accidents to the relevant country authority
  • Incorporate feedback from key stakeholders to make meaningful improvements to HR process and MPG's culture
  • Partners with other HR professionals across information systems solutions to deliver critical business decisions

Requirements Include:

  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident - Green Card Holder
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 10+ Years of HR management experience required
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Previous HRIS experience required, SAP or Workday preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Strong business acumen: Understanding of business, industry, and market dynamics
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems
  • Ability to travel ~20% via car, train or plane
  • Ability to speak English; Spanish is a plus.

Work Arrangement : Onsite

Pay Range: $175,000.00 - $190,000.00 annually

Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
