Your Overall Goals Includes:
*Overseeing the full AP cycle
*Driving system and process improvements.
*Fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the accounts payable team of 10+, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and high performance.
- Oversee the end-to-end AP process including invoice processing, payment runs, and reconciliations.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual tax reporting and filings
- Oversee year-end 1099 and 1042 reporting and filing
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with internal stakeholders including procurement, accounting, and business units to resolve issues and improve workflows.
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Manage month-end close activities related to AP, including KPI metrics and reporting.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to track team performance and service levels.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required in accounting or equivalent related experience
- 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of AP processes, accounting principles, IRS tax obligations, and internal controls.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and AP automation tools.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive process improvements.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a shared services or high-growth environment.
- Other relevant certification is a plus.
