Are you a recent college graduate or looking to make a career change? We are seeking to employ a Junior Corporate Accountant in the Corporate Finance department.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and a keen eye for accuracy. As a Junior Corporate Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

The position will be based at Hill's Center City Philadelphia, PA office. The role will be a hybrid of remote and in the office requiring a 50/50 spilt.


  • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll transactions.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to assist in the recording of leases into Lease Query software program to be in compliance with ASC 842.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and external financial regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • CPA or equivalent certification a plus.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of accounting experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willing to work additional hours when necessary to meet deadlines.

The starting annual salary range is $45,000 to $50,000 per year. The offered salary will be based on the applicants' qualifications, education, and experience.
