Application Window Open date: June 23, 2025 Next review date: Wednesday, Jul 23, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Wednesday, Dec 23, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description FULL TIME TEACHING ADJUNCT FACULTY POSITION The Department of Bioengineering & Therapeutic Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) invites applications for full-time Assistant/Associate/Full Professors in the Adjunct Professorial series (non-tenure track). A total of one adjunct faculty position is available. The position will focus on teaching in our new Master's degree program in Artificial Intelligence and Computational Drug Discovery and Development (AICD3), and primarily focused on artificial intelligence application in biotech, computational drug discovery, and drug development research initiatives. For this position, faculty in the Adjunct Professor series will contribute primarily to teaching and have a limited responsibility for research or other creative work. These positions will be primarily focused on teaching and teaching administration, which will include curriculum planning and development, coordinating instructors, delivering instruction to students (including lecturing, small group facilitation, and research project advising), proctoring and grading, and mentoring/advising students. Preference will be given to candidates with industry experience, a history of teaching in the health sciences, and a demonstrated ability to develop and deliver AI/ML-focused coursework.
