Job Summary

We are currently hiring an Principal Digital Strategist and Webmaster for our Corporate Marketing team, and our ideal candidate will possess a passion to lead the architecture, optimization, and management of our publishing infrastructure across Staffmark.com, SMGroupNA.com, and associated brand domains.

Essential Duties

Your Day-to-Day Leadership includes Activities such as these:

  • Optimize all web content, metadata, and technical structure to maximize discoverability in both traditional and AI-enhanced search environments.
  • Serve as the primary developer and architect of Staffmark's WordPress-based digital platforms.
  • Maintain automated deployment pipelines, testing environments, and logging systems for rapid delivery of new features and fixes.
  • Leverage artificial intelligence tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate prototyping, code generation, testing, and content formatting.
  • Implement advanced behavioral and conversion analytics to track funnel metrics across candidate application paths and client contact channels.
  • Act as the technology lead within the marketing department, translating marketing vision and goals into deployable site features.
  • Ensure that knowledge documentation, transfer, and training among SMG staff is sufficient to ensure baseline maintenance and viability of all products on the Word-Press platform, and not reliant solely on one individual person.

  10. Advanced proficiency in PHP, SQL, WordPress, JavaScript, and related web technologies
  11. Expert-level experience with the LAMP stack and root-level Linux server administration.
