Description
The Payments Operations Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of all Digital Payments Products and being cross-trained in each area including ACH, Wires, FedNow, RTP, Zelle, Debit Cards, and ATM Services. In this role this person will be responsible for the supervision of the ACH and Wire managers, as well as monitoring and analyzing product KPIs, and use a data driven approach to identify opportunities and to optimize performance. As one of the SMEs for digital products, you will help drive vendor operations and make recommendations to enhance product performance. This role will contribute to the effective and efficient operations of the bank while providing best in class product availability and upholding City Bank's core values. This person must be willing to act quickly in a competitive payments industry. This person must have a strong passion for Digital products and services, serving others, and working in a team environment.
Essential Duties

  1. Supervision of Wire and ACH Managers and all tasks necessary to run those areas.
  2. Consistently follows the City Bank Promises and complies with all policies, procedures, and regulations
  3. Represent the bank in a professional manner while providing prompt, efficient, and accurate service to all internal and external customers that you serve.
  4. Provide prompt and efficient service to the Digital Payments team.
  5. Acquire and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all Digital Payment lines of business and product offerings.
  6. Serve as second line of support for Digital Payment Dept issues.
  7. Communicate and collaborate cross functionally with Digital Payment teammates to understand, implement and support key strategic initiatives.
  8. Initiate and recommend product improvements.
  9. Track and maintain expenses in compliance with budget goals.
  10. Work with management to establish, track and report KPIs, performance metrics and other measurable goals that ensure Product success.
  11. Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual departmental Product reports.
  12. Work with business to identify areas for Digital Payment product improvements and implementing initiatives.
  13. Assist with creating and maintaining operational policies and procedures.
  14. Support implementation teams as a SME on Digital Payment operational matters.
  15. Support and prepare for Management Team meetings and Business Reviews.
  16. Assist with managing, monitoring, reconciling vendor billings. i.e. Fedline Advantage, The Clearing House, eSign, ForClients portal etc.
  17. Assist with managing vendor contracts. i.e. Docusign, Jack Henry, Q2, etc.
  18. Engage in thorough product testing during implementation and product enhancement cycles.
  19. Maintain a positive attitude for problem solving and troubleshooting hardware, software, or communication issues.
