The Production Supervisor is responsible for providing day
to day direction to assembly operators in the areas of Safety, Quality and
On-Time Delivery of product. Requires strong leadership and organizational
skills to ensure tactical tasks are completed per requirements. Effective
coaching and motivational skills are required to drive productivity and goal
attainment.

Our Assembly department in Lebanon, TN is now looking for a Production Supervisor.

Key Tasks

• Provide direction to production
  employees in the areas of Safety, Quality and Assembly activities.
  
• Demonstrate leadership skills and provide
  coaching and mentoring to production employees.
  
• Be an active leader in utilizing
  Kaizen and Lean to improve production processes.
  
• Strong ability to Lead and Follow
  
• Perform daily Safety and Quality
  audits in designated work centers to ensure compliance.
  
• Manage Daily Improvements
  activities (5S, Standard Operation Procedure Audits).
  
• Be a visual leader and develop
  visual signals within work centers.
  
• Demonstrate problem solving
  techniques.
  
• Be a process owner who can train
  employees to meet production standards.
  
• Demonstrate good verbal and
  non-verbal communication.
  
• Perform time-based observations
  and make improvements to meet tactical goals.
  
• Be an active leader in policy
  compliance and accountability.
  
• Managing workplace diversity.
  
• Must be data and metric driven.
  
• Eliminator of process waste (Muda)

Your Background

• Proficiency in the English Language (written and oral).
  
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  
• Strong time management skills and priority focused.
  
• Computer literate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  
• Good project management skills. Ability to multi-task with a pro-active approach to issue resolution.
  
• Takes corrective action when needed to keep program on track,
  communicates upward when objectives can't be met with a recovery plan.
