Description At MaineHealth Vocational Services, people are our focus. Our vision is to provide leadership and promote systemic change by delivering quality vocational services, fostering access and creating community alliances that support people. The Employment Specialist provides individualized job placement and support services to individuals receiving public mental health services. Based at a local mental health agency, they work both as part of that agency's team and as part of a statewide initiative to advance employment for individuals with mental illness. They also serve as a liaison to employers, developing business and community relationships in their local area. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
