We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position ofBusiness Advisor within ourOMSD (Oxy Midstream Strategic Department) group based in Houston, TX. Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct ongoing review of operations and contractual commitments to ensure compliance the terms and conditions including pricing, measurement, obligations and other contract provisions.
- Participate in the day to day, month to month movements of Oxy's hydrocarbons to maintain flow assurance.
- Negotiate, monitor and maintain purchase, gathering, processing, transportation and sales contracts and amendments as necessary to support commercial activities.
- Interface with Facilities & Construction, Asset Development, Field Operations and other internal groups to provide flow assurance of Oxy's hydrocarbons during operational events.
- Coordinate and communicate frequently with management on the status of projects and initiatives.
- Engage third party service providers to understand their systems capabilities, product flows and operational challenges to maintain flow assurance of Oxy's hydrocarbons.
- Support development projects in the acquisition of or divestiture of assets to ensure compliance with all incoming and outgoing contractual commitments.
- Maintain models for deal tracking, perform analysis, valuations and other relevant tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor'sdegree required, preferably in quantitative-focused field such as Finance, Analytics, Business Analytics, Accounting, Engineering, or other related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
- Prior commercial business development experience preferred.
- Upstream or Midstream oil and gas background preferred.
