Master Data Platforms Senior Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• The IT Enterprise Data and Analytics Senior Manager translates business segment strategy into functional plans and guides execution for the teams who help in planning, designing, developing and performing assessments on data and structures to ensure integrity, completeness, quality, and appropriateness of formats, records and structures. They effectively cascade functional strategy to test outputs as established by product management, client specifications, and governance rules. The incumbent participates with senior management to establish strategic plans and objectives to ensure quality and use requirements as established by product management, client specifications, and governance programs

WHAT THE ROLE WILL DO:

Leadership & Supervision

• Strategic leader, Directs operational units.
• Directs the activities of a functional area or multiple integrated departments through lower management.
• Leads team(s) to develop new methods and solve complex matters.
• Responsible for supporting the talent strategy through hiring, onboarding, learning & development, performance, succession planning, engagement, recognition, and inclusion, diversity, and equity practices.
• Responsible for fostering a work environment that encourages employees to act with integrity and respect.
• Responsible for setting employee objectives and expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing meaningful feedback, and mentorship.
• Responsible for supporting employee career development.
• Contributes to development of strategies of a function or multi departments.

Knowledge & Application

• Participates with senior management to establish strategic plans and objectives. Makes final decisions on implementation and ensures operational effectiveness.
• Effectively cascades functional strategy and contributes to development of organizational policies.
• Accountable for actions that impact function or multiple department budgets.
• Works on complex issues where problems are not clearly defined and where fundamental principles do not fully apply.
• Translates business segment strategy into functional plans and guides execution. Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people.
• Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.

Collaboration & Interaction

• Interacts with senior management, executives, and/or major customers which frequently involves negotiating matters of significance to the organization.
• Reconciles multiple stakeholder views to drive business results.

This position is eligible for hybrid schedule of three days in office.

WHAT THE INCUMBENT WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in data analytics, data science, statistics or the information technology (IT) field. In lieu of a degree, at least 11 years of experience in data analytics, business analytics or IT.
  
  

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, business analytics or IT
• 4+ years of experience managing direct reports

Preferred Qualifications

1. 10+ years of experience in Master Data Management Design, System Development and implementations/production support preferably in Customer domain.
2. 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture and providing technical leadership to Data Pipelines construction using ETL, API Management and Event Streaming/Event Sourcing paradigms.
3. 8+ years in Data Modeling, Data Quality Monitoring/Reporting and Data Governance
