Responsibilities
SCREENING FOR THIS POSITION WILL CONTINUE UNTIL THE JOB HAS BEEN FILLED. Minimum: $20.00/hour Maximum: $25.00/hour Position Summary: The Patient Advocate investigates, resolves, documents and reports organization-specific patient and visitor complaints and concerns to leadership and staff. The Patient Advocate collaborates with departmental leaders in to ensure resolution of concerns presented by patients, families, visitors or other representatives of the patient. The Patient Advocate actively participates in the development and implementation of customer service and patient relations initiatives related to the facility's mission and goals. The Receptionist answers all incoming phone call to CSH and provides clerical support to other Departments of the hospital. Communicate all messages accordingly. Communicate with Assessment and Referral Department for walk-in and scheduled patient arrivals including initial paperwork and assessment packets. Monitor lobby area and surronding camera dispays for patient activity. Receive incoming mail/deliveries. Receive and dispatch patient belongings brought from outside facility. Call CODES over overhead paging system and radio. Schedule mandatory training on Master log. Follow HIPAA guidelines outlined in Reception Guide. Assist with data entry. All other duties as assigned.
