As the Senior Director, Scattered Sites Housing, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the Executive Director in leading and continuing to develop the highest quality housing program for individuals with Serious Mental Illness (SMI), ensuring that our work leads to systemic change and sustainable support for people living with serious mental illness. Full-time in-house $140,000 - $150,000
Requirements
Your Impact As the Senior Director, Scattered Sites, you will:
- Lead overall programmatic, administrative, operational and strategic aspects of the programs ensuring 24/7 coverage.
- Establish long- and short-term objectives for the OMH stipend scatter-site program and determine the best way to reach those objectives.
Key Responsibilities Program Strategy & Innovation
- Coordinate with the Senior Director of Programming and Residences around both programming and housing operations and strategy.
- Development and implement policies and procedures pertaining to NYS-OMH stipend program in accordance with NYS-OMH and Fountain House standards.
- Oversee Request for Proposals related to Scattered Site programs.
- Work with the CP&F to address cross-agency issues including those outside Scattered Site programs.
- Member Engagement & Support?
- Facilitate communication with the community about housing needs and how to best address them.
Operations & Compliance
- Coordinate with the Senior Director of Quality Assurance & Compliance, to ensure that the Scattered Site programs are in compliance and delivering exceptional quality.
- Prepare for and involved with NYS-OMH audits
- Coordinate with the Financial services team and the Chief Financial Officer on budget and invoicing for the programs.
- Create and operationalize a budget for the Scattered Site Programs.
- Coordinate with the Chief People & Culture Officer to ensure appropriate staffing for all Scattered Sute programs.
- Ensure all Scattered Site programs are following best practices and aligned with the culture and mission of Fountain House.
- Responsible for the program survey implementation and collection
- Responsible for reports and presentations about the Scattered Site programs for internal and external stake-holders.
- Participate in the Unusual Incident Committee.
- Participate in the FH 360 team.
Partnerships & Resource Development
- Participate in the Housing Committee of the Fountain House Board of Directors.
- Effectively advocate for Fountain House's Scattered Site programs with external stakeholders and funders.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and provide continuous training to the Community Apartment Program Director and Supported Housing Director
- Provide in-house staff development training through outside partnerships as well as internal stakeholders
- Provide effective leadership and mentorship to the Community Services areas of Fountain House.

What You Bring
- Master's degree in the human service field, MSW preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience working with individuals with serious and persistent mental illness
- Minimum (3) years of supervisory experience required
- Minimum Three (3) experience in administration, program development, and/or landlord relationships
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, HER systems, CAVA, SLACK, HRA CAPS, and ADOBE
- Extensive knowledge of clubhouse model and social practice
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required
- Driver license preferred, but not required
