The Associate ServiceNow Administrator will provide comprehensive support for the configuration, maintenance, and operation of the ServiceNow platform. This role assists in the daily administration of the system including set up and maintenance, forms, fields and workflows and troubleshooting. Responsible for helping to ensure the platform meets business needs and functions efficiently. Ensures that ServiceNow configurations and customizations align with organizational security policies, data protection standards, and compliance requirements. Assists in managing user access controls and permissions and supports all audit and compliance activities.

What you will do

Platform Administration

  • Performs basic administration tasks in ServiceNow, including user and group management, form configuration, and workflow updates.

  • Assist with the set-up and maintenance of ServiceNow modules, forms, fields, and workflows to support business needs.

  • Monitor systems performance, troubleshoot basic platform issues, and escalate more complex problems to senior administrators or developers.

Incident, Problem, and Change Management

  • Monitor and maintain system performance and functionality; escalate issues as needed.

  • Assist with supporting systems upgrades and patches.

  • Partner with leadership to implement change management best practices.

Configuration and Customization

  • Conduct testing and validation of updates or patches before deployment.

  • Maintain documentation of configurations, customizations, and workflows.

Integration and Data Management

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Service Now modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Request Management.

Security and Compliance

  • Ensure that ServiceNow configurations and customizations align with organizational security policies, data protection standards, and compliance requirements.

  • Assist in managing user access controls, roles, and permissions to safeguard sensitive data and maintain role-based access integrity.

  • Support audit and compliance activities by maintaining accurate documentation of system changes, configurations, and approvals.

Continuous Improvement and Support

  • Support user onboarding and training on ServiceNow functionality and best practices.

  • Stay current with new features and updates from ServiceNow releases.

Who you are

  • 1 year of experience working with the fundamentals of the ServiceNow platform, with practical exposure to its key technologies and capabilities required; 3 years preferred.

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Cybersecurity or Information Security, Business Administration with IT focus preferred.

  • Must have foundational knowledge of the Service Now platform, including core ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.

  • Basic understanding of ITIL framework, along with familiarity with system configuration, workflows, and user administration is essential.

  • Awareness of ServiceNow best practices and capabilities will support effective day-to-day operations and minor platform enhancements.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are critical.

  • Attention to detail, the ability to follow standard procedures, and a willingness to grow with a dynamic IT environment.

  • Additional Experience/ Education: ITIL Knowledge

Pay Range: $68,640 - $83,000 annually

Final compensation package will be determined by the work experience, education, and/or skill level of the applicant along with internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.
