Certified Medical Assistant

We're seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide essential healthcare services in a secure correctional facility. This role requires a professional who can deliver quality care in a fast-paced, high-security environment while demonstrating empathy, composure, and strong clinical judgment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform phlebotomy with accuracy and confidence; recent hands-on experience required.
• Assist with basic medical procedures, including administering medications, wound care, and patient assessments.
• Accurately document all care and treatment in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
• Maintain and organize treatment areas, manage medical supplies, and ensure proper inventory levels.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare staff, correctional officers, and patients to provide safe, respectful care.

Shift: Monday - Friday 7a-3p (must be available to work one or two weekends a month)
