Regional Facilities Manager - Financial Services Portfolio!

Lead our facilities management operations for a premier financial services client, overseeing a diverse portfolio of critical and office facilities across multiple locations. You'll direct a team of 10 Facilities Managers while managing 27 critical office sites, 112 regional offices, and 39 vacant properties, totaling over 8 million square feet of space.

Your day as a Regional FM:

Strategic Leadership & Operations

  • Develop and implement facilities strategies across a diverse portfolio while leading a team of 10 Facilities Managers
  • Create and manage annual operating/capital budgets, establishing performance metrics for continuous improvement
  • Ensure optimal building system performance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety) and oversee preventive maintenance programs
  • Utilize automation technologies to enhance operational efficiency while developing consistent standards and procedures
  • Support space planning initiatives and optimize facility operations

Relationship & Resource Management

  • Partner with Sourcing to select vendors, negotiate contracts, and develop service-level agreements
  • Optimize vendor relationships for cost efficiency while maintaining service quality through regular performance reviews
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, translating technical information effectively
  • Build strong relationships with all stakeholders while proactively addressing client concerns

Risk Management & Project Coordination

  • Ensure regulatory compliance and develop emergency response/business continuity plans
  • Lead risk assessment strategies with a focus on critical sites and support sustainability initiatives
  • Coordinate with the Project Management team for facility projects, supporting capital improvements
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and Workplace Experience ambassadors

Who We're Looking For

Required

Experience & Qualifications

  • 10+ years in facilities management with 5+ years leading teams
  • Experience managing critical facilities (data centers) and office environments
  • Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety)
  • Knowledge of building automation, CAFM/IWMS systems, and facility technologies
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, building codes, and compliance requirements

Leadership & Client Management

  • Proven ability to develop and motivate facility management teams
  • Strong client relationship skills, including managing challenging conversations professionally
  • Excellent communication skills-translating technical issues for non-technical stakeholders
  • Financial acumen for budget management and cost optimization
  • Strategic thinker who can manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to lead through influence and drive consistent KPI achievement

Technical Expertise

  • Critical environment management experience, including understanding of equipment functionality
  • Vendor management and CMMS administration skills
  • Risk identification and mitigation capabilities

Preferred

  • Industry designations such as CFM, FMP, PMP, or LEED AP
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field

Pay $145,600+, depending on experience, with a 25% targeted bonus of the annual salary.

Schedule: Monday-Friday day shift with on-call required 24/7 for emergency responses.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

145,600.00 - 210,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
