Role Summary
We are looking for aClinical Consultant(either apediatric/adolescent psychiatristor aPMHNPwith deep experience in California) to design Daybreak's end-to-endmedication management program. This work will ensure clinical safety, operational scalability, billing compliance, and readiness for EMR and engineering implementation. This project is expected to last 6-8 weeks with a total of 60-80 hours of work. The rate for this project is $150-$175/hour.
Scope of Work
Objective:
Develop a clinically sound, operationally scalable, and engineering-ready blueprint for medication management within Daybreak's pediatric and adolescent care model.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of clinical workflows for medication management (initiation, monitoring, follow-up, discontinuation, and transitions).
- Define role-based responsibilities for prescribers, therapists, care coordinators, and admin teams.
- Develop clinical protocols for top use cases (e.g., anxiety, depression).
- Align all workflows with Californiastate regulationsandinsurance billing practices(CPT codes, visit types, documentation standards).
- Provide documentation templates and EMR recommendations (e.g., prompts, alerts, refill logic, safety checks).
- Recommend follow-up cadence, safety protocols, and collaborative handoffs.
- Identify EMR and operational requirements for engineering and EPAD teams.
- Define success metrics and data tracking needs to support ongoing program monitoring.

Qualifications
- Board-certified pediatric or adolescent psychiatrist OR PMHNP with extensive pediatric/adolescent experience
- Strong familiarity withCalifornia regulatory requirementsfor medication management
- Deep understanding of CPT coding and documentation best practices
- Prior experience building or operationalizing med mgmt programs preferred
Experience working with tech-enabled care models or digital mental health platforms a plus.
