Job Description

Untitled Art, the international art fair that takes place annually in Miami Beach and is debuting in Houston this September, is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable Head of VIP Relations to lead the VIP department for both fair editions. The Head of VIP Relations will serve as the public-facing representative, responsible for engaging and developing the fair's VIP audience and managing community development.

Role Accountability and Duties:

  • Serve as the public-facing representative of the fair, engaging and developing relationships with institutions, exhibitors, collectors, curators, advisors, and other art professionals to foster overall fair development.
  • Responsible for the management of the VIP database, including research, support, analysis, incoming registrations, updates and edits, and ongoing outreach.
  • Manage and oversee all VIP communications, ensuring proper segmentation and dedicated outreach.
  • Oversee and implement VIP development initiatives.
  • Oversee the continued use of software and software updates and new features to manage, communicate, and coordinate all data related to the VIP department.
  • Oversee and manage on-site and year-round VIP programs and VIP calendar, including museum and private collection visits, cultural partners, and additional local VIP benefits.
  • Compile information about exhibitor activities for advising services, organized groups, and social media strategies.
  • Organize and lead VIP tours during the week of the fair.
  • Oversee the organization and management of exhibitor information and VIP guests.
  • Organize in-person meetings with stakeholders and manage existing client relationships.
  • Oversee the staffing of the VIP Desk.
  • Assist with general administrative duties, such as managing archives, office supplies, and mail.
Qualifications

What you bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree in art history or arts administration preferred
  • Relevant art world experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional client service skills, with a calm demeanor and approachable manner
  • Ability to work under pressure and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Available to work evenings and weekends as necessary to support programming and events

The range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000based on experience.
