Job Responsibilities

Yarde Metals is looking for a Class B Driver to join our Fleet & Operations Team in Pelham, NH. A Class B Truck Driver safely operates a commercial truck to transport and deliver material to customers.

SAFETY FIRST!
Safely operate a commercial vehicle.
Load and unload material.
Secure loads and assure they are within weight limits.
Verify material condition and quantities during the loading/unloading process.
Report vehicle maintenance needs.
Report overages, shortages, and damaged material.
Assist with loading and unloading material at points of delivery and pickup
Comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations.
Maintain a clean driving record.
Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisor or group leader.
Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

***This is a SAFETY SENSITIVE position: requires operating heavy machinery***

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Valid, current Class B driver's license and medical card.
Clean MVR.
Six months minimum experience strongly preferred.
Must be able to operate an automatic manual transmission.
Capable of meeting lifting and physical requirements of position.
Willingness to work required overtime.
