Where you'll be:

This position will be based in Anderson, South Carolina.

All about the role:

The Material Coordinator will oversee the order, shipment and storage of materials, will work with other departments to coordinate deliveries and ensure timely receipt of materials.

What you'll do:

  • Drive supply chain strategy through planning, order management and new product introduction, seeking operational excellence, building strong relations with the suppliers.

  • Contacting suppliers to solve delivery problems on time.

  • Ensuring stock levels will meet the production and customer demand and are cost-efficient using traditional and innovative planning methodologies.

  • Maintain executive dashboard/reports of key metrics, mainly on inventory level and quality.

  • Perform inventory projections (On hand/GIT/WIP) supporting S&OP and budget processes.

  • Perform regular planning master data integrity and quality audits.

  • Creating and submitting data collation reports to support business to drive better decision in short/mid- and long-term regarding inventory.

  • Cross-functional operation to ensure service, cost, and inventory targets.

  • Enhance planning system capabilities to promote better accuracy and higher productivity on planning activities.

  • Constant improvements in developing solutions and supporting system updates, enhancements and new business needs (Projects).

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required; bachelor's degree in supply chain and logistics is preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in a comparable position within a multi-site environment.

  • Robust understanding of supply chain planning processes.

  • Strong knowledge and experience of using MO Excell and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems.
