Responsibilities

The Enterprise Document Management Engineer is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of the OnBase document management system and its related applications. Operating with minimal supervision, this role requires a high level of technical expertise and independent judgment to manage daily operations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal system performance. This position works closely with cross-functional IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure the OnBase platform effectively supports organizational needs and business processes. This position also plays a key role in system design and analysis activities, particularly within hospital operations, and serves as a mentor to junior team members by providing technical guidance and support.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  1. Three (3)+ years of experience working with Hyland OnBase platform in an administrative or engineering capacity.
  2. Experience with OnBase Studio, Workflow, Work View, Unity Forms, and Application Enabler.
  3. Strong knowledge of Windows Server, IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, and Active Directory.
  4. Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell).
  5. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  6. Ability to travel up to 50% as needed for project implementations, training, or support.

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Hyland OnBase certifications e.g., OnBase Certified System Administrator (OCSA), OnBase Certified Workflow Administrator (OCWA).
  2. Experience in OnBase integrations using APIs, web services, or middleware.
  3. Knowledge of ITIL processes and practices is a plus.
