Production is done in a two person team. Places interlocking spring modules into metal grid, and tacks edges with a clip gun. Unit is secured to a wooden frame using a staple gun. Basic Requirements: 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment. 18 years of age with High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Work Environment/Physical Requirements: Fast-paced plant operations environment. Preferred Requirements: Ability to read and interpret documents, including but not limited to safety rules, procedures manual and policy manual. Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with Department Supervisor, Lead, Coworkers and other personnel. Demonstrated ability to solve problems in a practical, methodical way while working with a sense of urgency. Able to read and follow a written set of procedures. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand for extended periods, to sit and talk or hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Safety glasses are required PPE.
