Epson, a global technology leader, is seeking a Service Training Instructor for our service and support training department. In this role, you'll develop and deliver technical repair and service training for various product lines. You'll train third-party service vendors, outsource vendors, internal support teams, and sales employees. Additionally, you'll create product theory and operation training and develop field repair guides for assigned products.

This position is based our of our Plainfield, IN location with an opportunity for a hybrid schedule.

What you will be doing:

Customer Training

  • Assesses the training needs of Epson Authorized Service Vendors, Outsource Vendors, Resellers, Advanced Product Support, Technical Support, Repair Depot and other Strategic Customers and partners as defined by management and business requirements.
  • Develops and improves curriculum for new and existing products to meet customer needs.
  • Writes and maintains field repair guides and other technical documents on assigned product lines.
  • Develops customized courses as required by customers.
  • Conducts technical training on use, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Epson products.
  • Negotiates for customer on-site training including scheduling and content.

Technical Support

  • Assists service and technical support call center groups in resolution of difficult escalations.

Relationship Management

  • Builds strong relationships with peers, other departments, and managers to best meet company goals and objectives.
Minimum Experience Requirements
B - Requires some specialist or admin experience (2- 5 years)

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $66,467 and $87,238. Please note that this position's salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
